The holy name of Krishna is not different from Krishna himself. It is the complete Absolute Truth descended in the form of transcendental sound, accessible to every soul regardless of birth, wealth, or learning.

हरेर्नाम हरेर्नाम हरेर्नामैव केवलम् । कलौ नास्त्येव नास्त्येव नास्त्येव गतिरन्यथा ॥

Brihan-naradiya Purana
