Cleansing The Temple
On the eve of the Ratha-yātrā, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu leads His devotees to cleanse the Guṇḍicā Temple, symbolizing the purification of the heart. True preparation for Kṛṣṇa’s arrival involves removing all material desires and making the heart like Vṛndāvana, where only Kṛṣṇa reigns supreme.
