Bhagavad Gita — The Song Divine
The Bhagavad Gita is spoken by the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna to his devotee and friend Arjuna. In seven hundred verses, the entire path of yoga, knowledge, and above all devotion is revealed.
सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज
sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja
Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me.
This final instruction is the crest-jewel of the Gita. Krishna asks Arjuna — and every soul — to give up all self-made conceptions of duty and take exclusive shelter of him.
